Compliance

Compliance, along with professionalism and performance, is an essential element of CAI’s services. Of course our mission of Keeping Bad Debt in Check is regulated by Federal, state and local laws. By ensuring compliant communications in every part of what we do, we protect your good reputation while providing excellent recovery results. Some key areas of our compliance programs include the following.

  • CAI is licensed nationally where required and can collect anywhere in compliance with the requirements of each jurisdiction.
  • CAI is insured and bonded to levels that satisfy our clients’ requirements.
  • CAI has implemented ACA’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) and is completing the formal certification process now. The benefit to our clients is that, through PPMS, we increase our performance levels and our quality of service while minimizing errors.
  • CAI has a dedicated, full-time compliance officer who ensures that CAI performs all activities in accordance with all of the laws and regulations that guide our industry.
  • Because of the importance of payment processing in our industry, we are in compliance with PCI standards to ensure the integrity of this critical financial information.
  • CAI has a formal Red Flag Rules program in place to further ensure the security of data and reduce the risk of identity theft.
  • We require all staff to successfully complete a comprehensive training program to ensure that everyone at CAI understands all laws and regulations affecting our industry.
